Our school is a fully inclusive community primary school, judged as ‘good’ by Ofsted 2019, with our provision for Early Years, personal development, behaviour and welfare and leadership all judged as ‘outstanding’.
Our school caters for pupils between 3-11 years old. Kender is part of the London Borough of Lewisham, and has places for 420 full time pupils and 62 Nursery pupils.
We are proud of our ‘caring ethos that permeates all aspects of school life’ with children that ‘are valued and cherished as individuals’, ensuring ‘the school radiates happiness, and calmness’.
The school continues to make improvements and, as noted by Ofsted, ‘does not stand still’; ‘improvements to date are linked to the outstanding leadership of the headteacher and other senior leaders, a clear vision of high expectations, strong teamwork and a passionate community spirit among staff and parents’.
We provide a high quality education for all children, encouraging a trusting, caring partnership between home and school. We strive to achieve high standards in all areas of children’s learning, delivering a ‘dynamic curriculum’ and ensuring each child makes the very best of their time in school.
We are proud of our school and would be delighted to welcome potential new parents for a visit – for further information please contact us or contact me via firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to meeting you soon.
