Art and design stimulate creativity and imagination providing visual, tactile and sensory experiences and a unique way of understanding and responding to the world. Our children explore the work of artists, craftspeople and designers, learning about the roles and functions of art, craft and design in contemporary life and in different times and cultures. They learn to make informed judgments about works of art and their own artwork. For our part, we celebrate their work, displaying it throughout our school to create a colourful and stimulating environment.
