We are pleased to inform you that Kender Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception) have been awarded the ‘First Steps Award’ by the Mayor of London.

We are currently working on completing the Bronze Award. In achieving the award we will demonstrate as Early Years provision that we offer a good level of support for health, wellbeing and education. We will work towards demonstrating that we have met standards relating to:

• • Personal development, behaviour and welfare
  • Quality of teaching, learning and assessment
  • Effectiveness of leadership and management

As part of this process we will be completing Audits in these three areas. These audits will ensure we are providing the highest quality of education for your children in terms of their health and well-being.
