We’re delighted to have set up a new partnership with a school in Ukraine, offering our children

the opportunity to connect with their Ukrainian peers on a project that celebrates the joy of

reading. Through the British Council’s UK-Ukraine School Partnerships programme, which is

funded by the UK Government, we’ve teamed up with Chortkiv Lyceum No 1 named after Markiyan Shashkevych to collaborate on art and literacy. 

Together, we’ll explore how reading and art can broaden horizons, build confidence, and enhance

mental wellbeing. Children in Year 5 had their first zoom meeting with the our partner school in Ukraine on Wednesday which we have posted on instagram.
