    • Friends of Kender AGM meeting

      Dear Parents and Carers,

      On behalf of Friends of Kender, we would like to invite you to join our online Annual General Meeting on Thursday 19th November at 7pm. 

      We will discuss the role of the Parent Teacher Association, what has been achieved in the past year and how we can make a difference in the next few months.

      Cannot attend? Contact us anyway, we would love to hear from you. We need you to help keep the running of the association and welcome your ideas and your time!

      We will soon be displaying information on the noticeboard next to the playground's bike shed so watch that space.

      We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces at the AGM on the 19th of November!

      Thank you all so much for your continued support and co-operation this term. It has been really challenging to ensure all of our arrangements for keeping children in school have worked effectively. So far so good. No cases in school and no year groups have had to close; we aim for this to continue next half-term too.

    • Open Evening for Reception September 2021

      Our first Open Evening will be held on Wednesday, 21 October 2020 from 4pm to 7pm. Unfortunately, we can only offer 1 person per child to come in due to the current situation with Covid-19, which means five adults in total for each open session.

      Please choose one of the slots below:

      4pm - 4.40pm

      4.45 to 5.20pm

      5.25 – 6.05pm

      6.10pm - 6.45pm

      Prompt attendance is paramount. You will need to arrive on time for each session and will need to wait outside the main entrance until you are escorted into the building at your allocated time. You will also be asked to wear a mask.

      If one of the slots above is suitable for you, please email info@kender.lewishm.school.uk or use the email provided on our newsletter; you should include your child's full name and date of birth so we can secure your place for the 21st. At the Open Evening there will be a chance to meet the Headteacher, School Business Manager, Deputy Headteacher and Early Years Lead; you will be able to meet each one in a separate room ensuring there are only even six adult in one space at a time.

      The Local Authority are providing support for parents of children in Year 6. You should have received a copy of the Bright Futures brochure - one for each Year 6 pupil.

      Also, the Admissions team at Lewisham are planning a webinar within the next month. This will be an explanation of the application process and a Q&A session. As son as we have further details we will share these with you.
