Welcome back to the new term and what a start it has been with the lighter mornings and warmer weather. On Monday the Prime Minister confirmed schools will reopen on Monday 8 March and we have begun working on organising this to make sure children and adults return safely. Please check the website for the letter outlining the plans for our return. The Prime Minister also outlined tentative plans for relaxing the lockdown rules over the coming months. Whilst there is light at the end of the tunnel, we must still remain vigilant about the rules in place and continue to support each other to follow them.
Children return to school on Monday 8 March and to prepare them for this teachers will continue to upload work until Friday 5 March. Children are expected to continue with the activities, many of which will be work that helps consolidate learning and prepare them for returning to school. Our thanks to all the parents who have supported the remote learning activities during the lockdown, and the teachers and support staff for their hard work and commitment to our children and their learning during this time.
All Ipads must be returned on Monday 8 March, as they will be needed in school.
There will be no morning meetings on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 March as teachers and support staff will be busy getting classrooms and the school ready for children’s return on Monday 8 March.
