Please be reminded about children’s kit for PE. First week after half-term is health week and all children should wear PE kit everyday for this week.
All children should have an appropriate PE Kit in school every day. Kit for PE consists of black shorts, white t-shirt(with their house colour on the front preferably) and trainers or pumps. Children may wish to have socks too. Please help us by ensuring all children have the appropriate kit for PE.
To assist you there will be a sale of spare PE t-shirts on Monday 3rdJune. Sizes will vary, however, but you are welcome see what we have and buy our spare stock. Prices are:
£1.00 for plain white t-shirts £2.00 for Kender House t-shirts
It has been brought to my attention that there might be some parents swearing in the playground. Please ensure we set an excellent example for the children when you come to drop or collect them at the end of the day. As adults it is down to us to set the example that we want our young people to follow. If you do hear adults speaking in an inappropriate way please report this to either Ms Jeffery or me. We endeavour to be in the playground everyday but can’t hear every conversation that takes place.
Friends of Kender are organising lots of events over the next half-term. Please look out for Tweets, tables on the playground and messages from your child or children.
First, save the date! Friday 28thJune is Kenderbury, from 5.30 to 8.00pm
Tickets will go on sale on Monday 10thJune and will be sold in the playground – adults £2.00, children £1.00 and a family ticket for £6 (families of five and over).
If you can help us make this an amazing event please complete the slip attached to this letter. The more parents can help the more we will enjoy this evening. Go on, you know you want to help!!!
Thank you for your continued support and wish you all a relaxing and enjoyable half-term break. And please remember: health week – Monday 3rdJune - and all children should wear PE kit everyday for this week.
