From January 2023 we are expecting all children in Years three to Six to bring them to school everyday; children in Years Rec to 2 will continue to bring them on their chosen days.
I have 100 Book Bags to sell at £2 each, which is a special knock down price. Bring some change and you can purchase a new book bag if your child does not have one already.
Be quick while stocks last!

Robert Vinnicombe: Deputy Headteacher
For the past two weeks, I have spent most of my time teaching in Y6. I’ve been really impressed with how hard they are working and how determined they are to do really well next summer. I, and some other staff from Kender, will be going to Brindishe Green School on Monday 12 December 2022 to join their English team to do some writing moderation to see how our standards compare.
Thank you all again for supporting the children with their homework. It’s really making a difference to their learning: please keep it up!
Thanks to all parents who joined the AGM this week!
We are delighted to welcome Faye Angus as our new Treasurer; Joanne Fuller and I will continue in our roles as Chair and Secretary. The meeting focused on 2022 milestones and how we can make a difference in 2023 - exciting times ahead...
Starting with the Winter celebration next week, on Friday 2 December. To make things easier, we have decided not to sell tickets ahead of the event - families will be able to purchase drinks and food and engage in activities as they see fit. Come and share a warm soup and hot chocolate with us after school, and please bring a cake if you can!
On another note - in the event you make some purchases using Amazon, keep in mind we have an Amazon Smile account. For more information and to sign up, click here. It only takes a few minutes: select Kender as your selected charity and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases to the PTA, at no cost to you.
Very disappointing from @bandq_help@BandQ - a delivery of three Christmas trees for @KenderSchool. One is perfect, just what we'd expect, but the other two... Scattering pine needles already - some branches completely bare! We've zhuzhed but I don't think they'll last the term https://t.co/UyXie6teYb
