Many of you will already know that Duncan James, our Premises Manager, will retire at the end of this term. To help send Duncan off with all of our very best wishes we have a number of events planned to mark this occasion. The amount offered
Tom Slack, the Premises Manager at Edmund Waller Primary School will be joining the staff team at Kender from Monday 1stApril. We have entered into an agreement to share Mr Slack between the two schools for the next year.
Next week we will hold meetings on Tuesday 26 March and Thursday 28 March for mums and dads to find out about the progress their child or children are making and to see the learning in their books. Please use the Arbor system to book an appointment. We would like to see 100% of parents attending these meetings. We can do it. Come on mums and dads book an appointment today! If anyone needs help booking appointments, please let the School Office know.
On Monday 1stApril our annual Literature Festival will start. This year Ms Kealey and Ms Wootten have planned learning around one specific text. They have chosen the book 'Bringing the rain to Kapati plain' and if, before the festival starts, you are able to get a copy from a library or you have a copy at home you could read it and/or talk about it at home.
Finally, please be aware that the price of school meals will increase to £2.30 per day from 23 April 2019. Meals should be paid for online and in advance.
