Health Week 2017 starts on Thursday! To kick off this event we will be wearing blue to mark World Water Day. So, get ready to wear blue on Thursday!

On Thursday we are starting our annual health week. This year we are not only focusing on our health but also the health of the planet.

Children will be taking part in various different activities over the week.  We have science activities, sport activities, planting activities, cooking activities planned.

On some of the days children need to wear PE kit or wear a certain colour.  Please see timetable opposite.  We are asking parents to donate £2, which we will share between three charities Water aid, Sports relief and The National autistic society.

Children will also be taking part in SRE (sex and relationship education).  Children of all ages will be doing age appropriate activities in their classes with their class teacher.

(Year 6 will not be taking part in SRE lesson until the summer term)

For example year one learn about how to keep themselves clean e.g. brushing teeth and washing hands.

If you do not wish your child to take part in these lessons you must inform your child’s class teacher.

Thank You

Ms Jeffery
